Rupinala Trekking - Unspoiled and Remote Route not to Miss

Located in the central Himalayan range of Nepal, Rupinala Pass Trek is one of the picturesque camping treks in the Himalayas. This trek route was a summer trade route between Tibet and Nepal. Crossing the Rupinala pass in winter is technically tricky, even though it is not a very high pass. Therefore, the best time to do this Manaslu Region Trek is in April, May, or September and October. We have a fully supported expert trekking team with all gear and foodstuffs while on these camping treks in the Himalayas.

Rupinala - Less Trodden Route

From Kathmandu, we drive to Barpak, a big and beautiful village of Gurung. Ethnic groups, many of them joined the British Gorkha Regiment, best known as the Gorkhas. From here, we trek to Dharche Hill for the superb mountain views. After the viewpoint, we followed the ridge and enjoyed the fantastic views. Next, we walk along the spectacular mountain foothills onto the ice to the base camp above the tree line. Our trek crew fixes the tents for accommodation, and a cook prepares delicious meals while you enjoy the dramatic mountain scenery. Crossing the Rupinala pass is demanding but very rewarding, with unspoiled and incomparable views of the Himalayas. We continue our trek towards the Boudha Himal base camp. Furthermore, we cross the massive glacier of Rani and Gorkha peaks with a stunning vista below the tree line. Fantastic scenery that is rarely seen in the Himalayas.

Lower Manaslu Camping Hike in the Himalayas

Having been lost in the wilderness for several days, we reach Nyak, a village on the ridge far above the Budi Gandaki valley. Furthermore, the trail down to the valley is in marginal conditions on this Rupinala Pass trek. Indeed, it can be tiring, but once you join the main path, you feel much more comfortable walking. Finally, we trek down to the Budigandaki river bank, where we board our bus drive to Kathmandu. Thus, the Rupinala Pass trek is a strenuous and spectacular wilderness mountain trek that should not be missed. Undoubtedly, it is an excellent opportunity for all adventure enthusiasts to join on camping treks in the Himalayas. Of course, exploring the remote and rarely trekked routes into the lower Manaslu region in Nepal - is undoubtedly an adventure of a lifetime.
