Seti River Rafting in Nepal - Grade 3
River rafting in Seti is the best two-day rafting trip in Nepal. It is the perfect link between an Annapurna trek and a Chitwan jungle safari. The rafting starts on the southeast slopes of Mt. Machhapuchare and flows south. The river is fantastic and passes through two beautiful and contrasting scenic areas.
The first day of your rafting in Seti River starts with relatively mild paddling on the Modi River. Next, you will experience the beauty and wonder of this fantastic mountain river valley on smaller Class II rapids. This section of the river provides the perfect opportunity to hone your skills in whitewater paddling in an inflatable self-bailing raft. As the Seti River joins the Modi, the water volume grows higher and more intense. Ultimately, it was an adventurous whitewater rafting experience on Class III rapids. Staying at a tented camp on the bank of the river is great fun and a different experience.
Your excitement will rise as you are kitted with your essential gear for the day and listen to the safety briefing. Then, as the guides and rafters climb aboard the raft and begin their challenging descent of the Seti River, everyone is full of eager anticipation and a little nervous apprehension about what the day will bring.
