Khopra Ridge Trek: 2-Week Tea House Hiking Itinerary

Your journey begins with a warm welcome dinner in the lively city of Kathmandu, where you will enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine. We will then have time to explore the rich cultural heritage of the Kathmandu Valley before heading to the trekking trail. The next day, we drive to the charming town of Pokhara, the starting point for your Annapurna Dhaulagiri adventure.

You start the trek through lush rainforests and visit the Gurung village of Ghandruk, known for its stunning structure and terraced fields. You will then follow the trail through Tadapani, Bayeli, and Dobato en route to Khopra Danda. This Khopra ridge offers breathtaking views of the majestic peaks of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna I, and Annapurna South. The spectacular Dhaulagiri peak rises dramatically from the depths of the Kali Gandaki Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world. A day hike to the serene Khayer Lake, the highest point on your journey, a sacred pilgrimage site at the base camp of Annapurna Fang.

On your return journey, you descend a different route, passing through Swanta to reach Ghorepani. Conclude the trek with the iconic Poon Hill hike, where sunrise offers panoramic views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu ranges.
