Annapurna Dhaulagiri Trek: Less Trodden Trail
Annapurna-Dhaulagiri Trek is a two-week-long adventure in Nepal. It displays the breathtaking views of the Annapurna Dhaulagiri ranges. This is a community-based hike, best known as the Khopra Ridge trail. All benefits go to the local schools and people of the region. The less trodden routes explore through traditional villages. You will hike amid the oak and rhododendron forests. The journey starts from a tropical rainforest to the high alpine meadow of Khayer Lake.
Khopra Ridge Trek: 2-Week Tea House Hiking in Annapurna
Feel free to join a welcome dinner upon your arrival in the vibrant city of Kathmandu. This dinner will feature local Nepali cuisine. You have time to explore the cultural heritages of Kathmandu Valley. We drive to the benevolent town of Pokhara to set off on the journey to Annapurna Dhaulagiri. The trek consists of a slow ascent through the rainforest. The route leads to Tadapani through the Gurung settlement of Ghandruk. This village amazes trekkers with its structural integrity. The houses nestle along the narrow terraced field. This trail passes through the Bayeli and Dobato en route to Khopara Danda.
Khopra Danda illustrates the most incredible views of the colossal peak of Dhaulagiri. It plunges from the misty depths of the Kali Gandaki River. This is the deepest gorge in the world. The fascinating lofty peaks of Nilgiri, Annapurna 1, and Annapurna South surround the gorge. The day exploration hike to the Khayer Lakes is the highest point on the trek. The Khayer Lake is an old pilgrimage shrine located at the base of the Annapurna Fang. On return, we follow a different route to Ghorepani through Swanta. Poon Hill hike presents the sunrise panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu ranges.
