The Everest Circuit Trek begins with a thrilling flight to Lukla. This village is the gateway to Everest. Following the Dudh Koshi River, you hike to Namche Bazaar. We spent two nights acclimating and exploring the monastery and museum. Slow and steady hike up the serene next to the three pristine blue glacial lakes. These breathtaking lakes are set among the glistering, snow-capped peaks. The climb to Gokyo Ri rewards with stunning 8000-meter peaks all around. Beyond imagination, dare to savor the wonder of Mount Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Makalu. Furthermore, the Nagozumpa Glacier and Pristine Gokyo lakes are next to you.
The traverse over Chola pass leads to Everest base camp and Kalapathar. As you approach Mt. Everest, you feel an increasing excitement and anticipation. We hike both Kalapathar and the base camp of Mt. Everest. Kalapathar offers a close-up view of the majestic Everest. You will create a history of leaving a footprint at the Iconic base camp. We descend Lukla via Pangboche and Thyangboche. There is more to explore the ornate and famous monasteries on the descent.

Trip Difficulty and Safety on Gokyo Base Camp Journey
This Chola Pass trek is graded as strenuous on its difficulty level. A fit person can join this trek with 1 to 2 months of pre-trek exercise. We recommend walking, jogging, hiking, etc., to prepare. A medically trained guide will accompany you on this Gokyo Everest base camp trek. We carry oxygen and a first aid kit to ensure safety on a trip.
